In 2015 I began a lecturing position at BHI in Melbourne, working in the Bachelor of Music Performance, and Masters of Contemporary Performance programs.
One of the joys of this position is working with the next generation of singers in the vocal groups.
Last week the Third Year Vocal Squad sang up a storm at the BHI graduation night performing ‘Tha Thin Tha’ and ‘Ai-ee-yi’. I was so proud of them, they are a gorgeous and talented lot, and I love hearing these works evolve, as every new version brings a different colour to the work. The Institute plans to record the songs so I’ll post the tracks when they’re done, but for now, just the photo and the memory of a great night!
