Can I make copies of sheet music that I buy from you?
Yes of course! You can make 1 copy per singer according to your licence purchased.
We offer a Standard licence to an individual choir or institution purchased on a per singer basis with a minimum of 20 singers – to be used with up to 20 singers in one choir or group only. Where the choir or group is larger than 20, you purchase the appropriate number of licences in multiples of 20. (60 singers = 3 licences) (You can make 1 copy per singer according to your licence purchase). If you plan to use the work for an ensemble of over 20 people, you purchase the STANDARD licence in multiples of 20 singers. So for example, if you have up to 40 singers, you buy 2 licences. You can do this by clicking Add to Cart twice, or editing the quantity in your shopping cart. Then you can make up to 40 copies. Or you can purchase additional numbers using the ‘Purchase additional copies 5 at a time button’
Please send us an email if you have questions about more complex licensing arrangements.
May I use my copies with a different choir?
No, each choir or institution must obtain their own licence and copies. The score that is emailed to you has the name of licence choir/institution on the copy.
May I reuse my existing copies with a new group of singers within the same institution/choir?
Yes! Once you have your licence you may keep the music in your choir’s library and reuse the music with that choir forever – this of course includes new singers coming into the group. The only constraint is that should your choir grow in numbers you need to purchase a licence for the additional singers.
Can my choir perform the works in public?
Of course! However, we ask that you register performances with the appropriate performance royalty body like APRA, SESAC, BMI, ASCAP, IPRS. All these details come with the licence arrangement when you make your purchase. Alternatively email us the performance details so we can lodge them.
