The sounds of India are coming to the Surrey Hills Music Festival, where Melbourne’s renowned a cappella group Coco’s Lunch is debuting its South Indian vocal percussion.
“We do a lot of interstate and international touring, so we really love connecting with Melbourne audiences and performing locally when we have the chance,” Coco’s Lunch’s Jacqueline Gawler said. The festival will also feature local rock, jazz, blues and folk, as well as busking and an open mic segment.
The Surrey Hills Music Festival will be held at the Surrey Hills Neighbourhood Centre on October 26, noon until 11pm. Coco’s lunch will play at 8pm.
